Do not buy a home here. They are aggressive and fraudulent with their towing practices. They do not protect the spots that belong to each resident, so residents are forced to park elsewhere, and when they do, they are towed super far away in violation of Florida statutes. The property manager, Angela, has no respect for the residents and did not offer to mitigate the situation in any way. The woman I spoke with Donna was extremely rude. She doesn’t understand that we were told Monday drywall would be done. The plumbers were so fast to cut into the walls, but nothing has been done. I called Donna twice. Finally got a hold of her. She gives me a number in case I don’t hear from somebody from drywall nobody from drywall is either calling me back or even contacting me they are emailing my grandfather who is deceased email who we cannot get into she didn’t even ask for a contact email for me. Haven’t had a great experience with this company…multiple requests and they ignore or don’t get back to you. Had some late fees given we were out of the country and the online payment system was down..they immediately sent it to a “Collections” agency charged us $350 for their fee and another $750+ for their pitbull collectors and registered a lien against our property (only days after dues for Oct 1…simply revenue generating for both of them…definately not our experience with other HOA Management Companies.

I am currently on board for Terrace V . I have found Gateway to be efficient, courteous and goes above and beyond when questions are asked . Our cam Brandy is the best in the business. I have been on boards in Tampa , prior to moving to Punta Gorda . I can give many examples of bad management companies based on my experience . Our governing documents spell out the rules we need to abide by . We can not make up our own rules as a board.
