Beware! I would not even think of renting from Brandon West at Gateway Gardens ( or any property HE is associated with). I was a leasing agent for 11 months and during this time he instructed maintenance to painted over mold instead of cleaning it up! Would stretch carpet between move ins instead of replacing with new carpet, holding carpet together with duct tape and calling it rentable. We would have to move ppl into apts with no working refrigerators or a/c just so his numbers looked good weekly. He treated residents like... read more

It used to be a really good place to live but it’s really gone down a lot now. They need to lower the price to go along with the new lower standards of how they keep the interior of their apartments. I would never rent there again.Another reason I wouldn’t recommend renting an apartment from there is because the manager Brandon treats the workers like crap. RecommendedCan’t get ahold of anyone in office or over the phone. Have stopped multiple times to discuss what can be done for my apartment as there is significant water damage from the derecho that went through Iowa. No one has called. No one will answer. Paying 12$ a month for renters insurance for myself through their “master plan” come to find out it’s paying their premium and doesn’t cover anything of mine. What are you doing? Just set up furniture in several apartments at Gateway Gardens. I do love the team here - Linda is always amazingly accommodating. Apartments are nice and the price is great - they also offer short-term rentals!
maintenance are never around !😡😡😡😡😡 but yey they have time to be at the pool taking to girls
They nickel dime you when u move out. Overcharging for utilities and basically eating up your deposit with those charges and fees. I left at lease end with apartment in great shape, never late. Pretty disappointed that my full deposit was not returned. Chalk it up to not taking the reviews about them in the beginning seriously.
