Avoid University Housing at all costs. After living here for over three years, I’m finally moving out next month. The only real benefit for graduate students is the flexibility to break the lease early if you graduate. Otherwise, this place is simply not worth it. I lived here for 6 months, everything works and if it doesn’t, you can place a maintenance request form and it gets fixed quickly. The building is old but doesn’t lack anything. Overall I enjoyed my time here, convenient location, great price and good friends.

Pros: • Closer to campus than Colorado, and I don’t mind having to use the UT Shuttle—you just have to keep an eye on the arrival times. • All utilities and laundry are included in your rent. • Spacious apartments (I liv... read more
