No one goes unless they seriously need to. However, once there the staff will take excellent care of you. I had complete confidence in my doctor and the nurses for the follow up were exceptional. They are competent, friendly and compassionate. About all you could hope for in a specialty medical practice.

My mother has been going to Gastroenterology LTD for years because of her bad liver. She passed away on November 17th at Norfolk General Hospital. I think it's very rude and disrespectful that the office would call my father today and tell him that she has an appointment at the office tomorrow. It's hard enough to grieve a loved one, especially here at the holidays. But to have a critical care giver specialist be that disrespectful is terrible.
Been with Dr. Janson and Gastroenterology for decades!!!! Dr. Janson is the best!! Caring, thoughtful, and very dedicated to the well being of his patients. Great practice.
Had an appointment today for a colonoscopy. Took the day off work, did all the prep only to be called an hour before my procedure to be told they had to cancel due to broken water line. I understand things happen but if I had canceled I would have been charged $75.00. Never was there mention of compensating me for money spent on the prep items or for the inconvenience. I just don't feel this was handled very well.
I am from New York . I recently relocated here to Va Beach . My first experience here and it was amazing. The staff, and Dr White were very pleasant and professional. A very timely visit. In and out in 11/2 hours. I would not hesitate to come here again. I am a nurse and have been for 40 yrs .
