Hands down the BEST experience I have ever had with a mechanic. Brian is so kind and explained everything clearly to me. My head gasket blew in my Prius and I was at a loss. Everyone kept telling me to buy a new car, as if I could just drop 10k immediately. I did research and came across gasket masters. I have a 2012 Prius and got the dreaded "death rattle" (clattering noise when you start the car, white smoke out of the tailpipe). I was recommended by a local mechanic to Gasket Masters and even though they were quite a long way from me, their price was very attractive. In fact so attractive, I questioned how they could do it for half the price or less of others. The reason, I found out, has nothing to do with cutting corners. Had a blown head gasket on a Prius 3 and Manuel and Brian were especially helpful. Service turnaround was amazingly quick (4 hrs) and thorough. Price was unbeatable for a rebuilt engine. Their invoice showed they went above and beyond in fixing the issues but also ensuring it wouldn't happen again (new spark plugs, cleaned egr valve, checked water pump, etc). I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I took my newly purchased Prius here due to overheating. Bryan, the tech, stated that the issue was the radiator and coolant tank which needed to be replaced in addition to the thermostat. I told Bryan that the thermostat had just been replaced, but he stated it needed to be replaced again. I spent almost $1,000 on these repairs, and asked if this would solve the problem.
