Had the worst experience. He didn't fix my mower satisfactorily and accused me of lying , "because he didn't know me." But I should trust him because he's a businessman.

Great service! We have three lots and an accountant husband who mows anything in the way resulting in frequent mower repairs. We have always had great service from Gary N Johns. Gary the father is gone now, son John runs it. I see many changes in the place, I like keeping my business local.

Took a John Deere lawnmower in for repair in spring of 2010. Used this business because it is within walking distance. They replaced the recoil rope correctly. However, the hard start was never repaired, and in addition they switched the wiring for start and stop. The bill was $100. Was able to get 2 mows after the so called repairs. Took it back, and still did not undo their damage. Just dropped it off at another repair shop (spring 2011) to have it repaired correctly. Do not recommend this business.

Poor customer service, not upfront about costs – I took my lawn mower in after calling Gary-N-John's Mowers-N-More to find out how much a service would be ($49.95). I asked him to replace the flap on the back, and asked him to call me to let me know how much it would be if it was over $10. A week later (no phone call either), I pick up my lawn mower. I was pretty shocked to be told it's $120 because of the extra parts and work he did. I asked for the $49.95 service; he charged me for a $69.95 tune up, and then added all thes... read more
