Dr Schmidt preformed microdiscectomy on me which resulted in constant pain and loss of feeling on part of my leg and then passed me off. Could have cared less. Never even wrote it in my chart that right after surgery and every time I saw him I couldn’t feel half of my leg. All he ever said was could be permanent or might get better. I’m in worse pain now than before my surgery.
Gary Schmidt was highly recommended to me when I began having horrible back pain 15 years after having Harrington rod surgery to correct scoliosis. He spent less than 5 minutes in the room, never examined my back or looked at xrays before he very rudely said he couldn't help me and walked out of the room.
