At Baycare Cardiac Cath Lab, I experienced medical negligence committed by a doctor during and after a stent procedure. I advised that I would refuse to treat with that cardiologist any further. Dr. Gary Idelchik took over my care and I could not have been more pleased and fortunate. He had to go back in and fix the other doctor’s misplaced stent, which was actually blocking an arterial juncture in my heart. Easily the best clinician in upstate NY. Diagnosed my diabetes, sleep apnea, valve and heart disease after being told I was okay by a prior cardiologist leading to my valve replacement and bypass surgery, and the cause of my stroke which was atrial fibrillation. An actual ‘House’ who saved mine and many others lives in this region. Truly a blessing he came here.

Outstanding doctor. Saved my life twice... diagnosing and treating my coronary artery disease with a stent and then diagnosing my head and neck cancer. A true asset to the community and I hope that all in Saratoga County can experience his care.
