I'm a resident at Garver Point, and I've had excellent experiences with the maintenance team here. I have found them to be very prompt in responding to requests and they're truly pleasant human beings who want to make things better. Shout out to Olivia, Mark, and Cory!
Great place.
Previous tenant. Overall, McGarth was great with prompt maintenance, clean buildings, etc. The only thing that truly bothered me was that our parking garage was accesible to business owners and workers on the ground floor—of which the door from the garage into the apartment building had NO SECURITY. It just didn’t feel the safest. The apartment across the street had police there every other weekend. It woke me up in the middle of the night frequently since the window aren’t necessarily the thickest.
Management hasn’t been great in the few years we’ve been here. Maintenance of the property is very poor, things have aged really poorly like the dog run. Instead of maintaining it, they decided to close it forever, and it’s been sitting there for months, not taken down, just closed off. We signed the lease because of the dog run specifically, and now management won’t let us break early without paying a large fee (which is wrong, they changed what we signed up for, so we should be able to break early with no fee). Management decided to close the dog run and disallow dogs from being in the building’s courtyard with no advance notice to tenants. Many tenants chose to live at Garver Point for this amenity. Management did not cite specific reasons, provide transparent communication, or agree to a rent reduction.
