D.R. I have been to the restaurant twice and on both occasions I was very pleased with the atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive. The price was reasonable for similar a style restaurant. Both times the food was good and was prepared as ordered. The bathrooms were very small (haha). I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.
A very good steakhouse I have not been to garlocks in about a year, so this review may be a bit stale. The atmosphere at Garlocks is a nice upscale restaurants. However, it is not stuffy or pretentious. The steaks are absolutely wonderful. The price is a bit high, but if you are looking for a nice night out, this may be the place.
will not return This was probably one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. The food was awful & so was the service. SLOW service & expensive prices comparable to quality of food. Medium rare filet steak ordered - recieved medium done - waitress said "sorry" & did not offer to replace it. Will never return & will not recieve good reviews.
Garlock's Restaurant is Amazing! I was into Garlocks last week we called ahead because our gift certs were slightly expired , the owners were kind enough to extend the date. My husband and I ordered stuffed scallops and prime rib. The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. The prices were very reasonable no more expensive than Applebees and cheaper than the village eatery by a mile I think all you people just want a free meal.
Garlocks July 23, 2008 I haven't been to Garlock's in years and my daughter was in from Philadlphia & 7 of us went, the food was fantastic and the server -he was great very attentive and helpful. I would recommend this to any one and will go back again soon.
Bad Lobster Easter and our family gathering of 10 had dinner consisting of steak and lobster, which was so rubbery that was it was terrible. I am writing this the next day, because I and another member of our party got so sick from the lobster that it will take a few days to recover. I expected better from Garlock's and was disappointed with the quality of food the last couple of times eating there. The service was excellent, but not the food.
Mr This is an amazing restaurant with top notch service and excellent food. Anyone that writes a bad review on here is out of their mind. I dont believe that anyone had a charge that could not be explained, or a rubery lobster tail...maybe that guy got sick from being a jerk!!! My wife and I frequent this restaurant, and would not choose anywhere else for a romantic dinner or a family gathering. great food, and friendly service!!!!
Don't waste your time! Couldn't be more dissapointed in both the food and the service. This was at one time a really nice place to eat back when they cared about quality, service, and reputation. Sadly, this is no longer the case here. We were so unhappy that we sent a letter of complaint to the owners. They didn't even have the decency to respond so apparently they couln't care less whether you were pleased with your experience or not as long as they got your money.
Review of Garlock's in Lockport, NY My family recently ate at Garlock's and thought it was nice in comparison to what we had to choose from in Lockport. I ordered the black angus steak and while tender it really did not have any taste. It was also cut into pieces vice being one piece of meat. My husband ordered a fish dinner and thought it was good, but didn't feel it tasted as fresh as it could have. Salads were good and the creme brulee for dessert was wonderful!
