I drove 60 miles (one way) to the Bee cave store and bought a dicounted open box water heater, the box was marked for LP gas and the inventory stock number said the same thing. Took it home, installed it and it wouldn't light. So in the process of looking for the serial number i actually looked at the data sticker- it was a natural gas unit!
