Suburban Lawn & Garden was started by Bill Stueck in the early 1950's as a lawn mowing business while he was in grade school. In the fifty plus years since, Suburban has grown into a multi-faceted retail, wholesale and service organization dedicated to the principles of growing superior products, providing excellent service and always delivering great value. SL&G now operates three garden centers/nurseries

We are longtime customers of Suburban Lawn and Garden. We have bought and had them plant numerous shrubs and trees. This past week we bought more trees. Wanting to add some mass to our yard, we stopped at the "rock yard." The two gentlemen working the yard were great. Helpful and with a great attitude. On the other hand the yard boss was a jerk. Cranky, unpleasant and too busy to help us. This has completely soured us on Suburban.
I always love this place..not as many trees this time but still love going and buying here.. my favorite garden center in 4 state areA

They had the organic herbs that I was looking for, but the three small annuals died a few days later, and there are no refunds. Better off going to the big box store where the plants have a 1 year warranty. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience for this visiting Texan. The people were friendly. The facility and grounds were clean and attractive. I loved looking at everything you had to offer. I will definitely be back.
So many plants and varieties that allows me to come up with an over abundance of ideas. Plus, if you can't design your own planters, they have a very knowledgeable staff to help. I and my family have purchased several trees and shrubs of outstanding for years. I highly recommend Suburban year round. In the winter, they have wonderful tropical and succulent plants.
