Suburban Lawn & Garden was started by Bill Stueck in the early 1950's as a lawn mowing business while he was in grade school. In the fifty plus years since, Suburban has grown into a multi-faceted retail, wholesale and service organization dedicated to the principles of growing superior products, providing excellent service and always delivering great value. SL&G now operates three garden centers/nurseries

Huge selection. Had an issue with a hanging basket and they graciously corrected it. Beautiful new store.

Cactus was waaaaaay over priced. Do your research folks and don't pay quadruple for your plants.
I have 40 raised beds and grow 100 plus container plants each year and trust Suburban's compost to fill and top them off each year. There are cheaper companies in KC, but none have the quality compost that Suburban has. You get what you pay for in this world...Suburban's compost is worth every penny! Excellent customer service as well!
Thank you Sandy and Sue at 135th store! You ladies helped me so much! I picked out beautiful plants for the terrarium! And they were even on sale! I drove from Gladstone and I will definitely be back in the Spring!
The employees are always very helpful and the selection is the best in KC!
Had a great time with the kids at the Suburban pumpkin patch! Lots of fun with hayrides, face painting and a dancing with making animal balloons!
My family and I just love our experiences with Suburban Lawn & Garden and won't hesitate to go out of our way to visit and purchase new products.
