Gander Mountain If you like spending time in the outdoors, Gander Mountain has what you need. They have a good bow shop, with a nice indoor range for practice. They have all your camping, fishing, hunting and apparel from kids to adults. They're prices are a little high on some items, but overall a good store to visit on a regular basis.
Horrible experience today at the N. LR store. Five people behind the service desk. I went to purchase an RV washer and dryer. No one could help me. Was told that the two who could help me were both at lunch.

Went there to see if their "Close Out Sale" would have anything my son needed. What a joke.....they still have plenty of stuff, but all at about twice the price of Acadamy or Wal-Mart. There is no way they didn't jack their price up, to put it on sale. $65 after 30% off for a generic 30 degree sleeping bag.....not unlike the Colman Dexter Point 30 sleeping bags you can buy at Academy for $48.99......So after a 30% discount an off brand is still $15 more that your competitors.....this is why they are bankrupt.
I will never step foot in Gander Mountain again. I purchased a century arms c308 from them in December. The rifle had issues straight out of the box, which may say something about Century Arms poor quality. It has a lifetime warranty so I brought it back to Gander Mountain 6 days after I purchased the rifle so they could send it off to the manufacturer to be repaired. I knew going into this process that it could be a lengthy one but it has been almost 5 months and Gander Mountain didn't tell me anything or keep me in the loo... read more
