I stopped by because I read there was bacon. I picked up a half pound of applewood bacon and a New York steak, which I brought home. My wife is not a bacon lover; I proceeded to chop and cook two pieces; with the help of a friend, we ate that very quickly. Then a couple more slices, then a nice wedge salad with bacon crumbles, bleu cheese, and balsamic vinegar, and the bacon is all gone! Good stuff! And we still have the steak!
Stopped in about a week or so ago to grab a steak to grill up before the rain swooped in. Super nice/friendly owner! Picked out a gorgeous ribeye for us...and even had some tasty free jerky. Support local shops like these, well worth the little xtra money for a quality product and FAR exceeds Whole Foods and others!!
We purchased 2 Rib Eyes on Saturday and we both agreed very simply and perfectly cooked, they was some of the best steaks we've eaten in a long time but it all starts with the awesome beef bought from Gambrel & Co.
