I went to Galo Eye Center and overall it was a good experience. They’re really convenient for walk-ins, which I liked, but you should be prepared to wait because it can take a while before you’re seen. The staff is friendly and helpful once you’re in, and the eye exams are thorough. If you don’t mind the longer wait time, it’s a solid place to go for eye care.
I have been getting my glasses here for over 10 years along with my family. I would pay around $25 for my eye exam for contacts and glasses. Last week (July 2025) they were charging me $100 for the eye exam and $65 for my daughter. And this is WITH insurance. This is ridiculous!!! I went to another place and was charged $80 for the both of us. I guess I’m changing eye doctor. And its a shame because I was really happy there. And yes, a few employees need some manners.
The first room where they have the glasses is cool but they sent you to the next room is so hot and have a TV doesn't work . I think that the Doctor gets pretty good money from all the customer and don't know a/c on the 2nd room. Why they do that.
