In the mid 1970s Bill Sr. along with his son Bill Jr. expanded their farming business with grain, vegetables, and tobacco. By the mid 1980s Bill Sr. deci... read more

First time there today with my family! We had so much fun!!!!
Business response:
Thank you for coming!
We have a large family pumpkin patch gathering each year. This year we chose Gallrein Farms, so glad we did. It was a great day with lots of things for the kids to do, and the hayride was definitely worth the price, its longer than any of the other Farms we have visited in the past. Most of the employees were super friendly and helpful, just what you would expect from our lovely Kentucky country folk. We liked that everything was spread out enough that the "crowds" didn't seem like crowds at all. Plenty of space and activiti... read more

Dalynn Coffman, thank you so much for your kinds words! We really appreciate you and all of the families that visit and enjoy our family farm as much as we do! (fyi: we had two of our facepainters out sick this weekend....so sorry, we know this made for longer a longer wait in that area.) Thank you again and we look forward to having you and your family visit us again!
Visited Gallrein today, for the 4th time, and I was very disappointed to learn that they are now charging 2 dollars per person to ride the the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. For the size of my family that would have been an additional charge of 14 bucks, half the cost of the 30 dollars in pumpkins I would have bought. Also you had to stand in line to buy the ticket to stand in line to ride the hay ride. Geeze, spend more time in lines than actually enjoying the activity. I felt like they were being greedy and taking advan... read more
I usually love this farm and go each year with my family. I was so sad this year to be charged to ride out to the pumpkin patch. I am already overpaying for all your activities and the pumpkins, but for it to cost us $2 per person or child just to go out and get our pumpkin just left a bitter taste. Sadly this will be the last year we visit now that I am feeling taken advantage of.
Business response:
