A passionIn the late 1920s Edward Gallrein Sr. started a dairy farm business in Jefferson County Ky. He started with only about 17 head and over many years it grew to over 400. His son William Gallrein Sr. continued the family tradition of dairy farming and in 1972 purchased a farm in Shelby County. The dairy business had grown to the point of milking cows around the clock! The wait was well worth it! We waited 30 minutes for the Hay Ride on Saturday Oct 9 - around 3:30. The ride was nice and long and the pumpkin patch was great! We picked our pumpkin off the vine. Food trucks were good as well!
Wonderful for children and adults alike! Great selection of pumpkins and many wonderful activities for children. Our children and I have been the last two years and plan on returning next year as well!
My kids had so much fun yesterday at the Gallrein Farms :) I love how everyone comes out and spends the whole day and they get to ride on the hay and pick pumpkins. I wish you all had activities for christmas. Really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you all for the wonderful experience
