A passionIn the late 1920s Edward Gallrein Sr. started a dairy farm business in Jefferson County Ky. He started with only about 17 head and over many years it grew to over 400. His son William Gallrein Sr. continued the family tradition of dairy farming and in 1972 purchased a farm in Shelby County. The dairy business had grown to the point of milking cows around the clock! Went w/ my 2 yr old yesterday. Loved it all. We will be back in a couple weekends w/ my husband.
Gallerein farm was a nice get away from town. Fresh vegetables to buy..Lovely gazebo where we sat and took in the views of the farm. Can't wait till fall!!!!
Love this place and all of the fresh veggies!! They have a petting zoo and all kinds of seasonal activities for families. Bring your family out you will love it!! Great lunch too!!
