A passionIn the late 1920s Edward Gallrein Sr. started a dairy farm business in Jefferson County Ky. He started with only about 17 head and over many years it grew to over 400. His son William Gallrein Sr. continued the family tradition of dairy farming and in 1972 purchased a farm in Shelby County. The dairy business had grown to the point of milking cows around the clock! Great first time experience for our baby! Highly recommend.
My daughter went on a field trip here yesterday. I have to be honest, it was just ok. The pumpkins were huge and nice and so was the staff. However, there were activities that were not opened that I felt should have been. My daughter, who is 4 and LOVES to go to places like this, asked to go home within an hour of arrival. She never ever does that. She got bored so fast. They have enough activities but not many were open. If they are going to have field trips come, they should open all the activities. We loved our visit last week. Everyone was super nice, it was clean and my son had a great time. The cookies and doughnuts were great and the mums are gorgeous!
We live nearby and used to enjoy coming often. Rude employees several times now have turned me away. There's too many other local farms in Shelbyville that are happy to take our business.
Great family fun activity for all ages! The farm, food, & activity’s are excellent. The staff takes great pride in caring for the farm & visitors.
It was great! There were a lot of activities for kids of all ages. I reccomend it highly.
This was our first time going and I have to say I was quite impressed. My 3 year old loved it, from picking pumpkins, to feeding the animals, activities, and the market, there is something for everyone to enjoy! The fresh doughnuts were really good also! �
Yesterday was our first time there with our daughter and granddaughter. We had a great time and would love to come back next year!
