A passionIn the late 1920s Edward Gallrein Sr. started a dairy farm business in Jefferson County Ky. He started with only about 17 head and over many years it grew to over 400. His son William Gallrein Sr. continued the family tradition of dairy farming and in 1972 purchased a farm in Shelby County. The dairy business had grown to the point of milking cows around the clock! My most recent trip was my second to the farm. I took my girls who are 3&1 as well as another 1 year old.We all had a blast. I loved the laid back environment that you cant find at the over commercialized Hubers. My family owns a business in Louisville so its a joy to visit other family owned places. Due to people's complaints, we had to retire them.
We had a great time today. The lady who worked the ticket counter for the haunted house was VERY sweet. My son was scared to go into the haunted house when he first walked in and she offered to go in with us. The hayride driver carried our pumpkins for us because my husband was at work at I couldn't carry two large pumpkins. The train driver was also very polite as well as the checkout ladies. Spent the day with my family here. The staff was so nice and helpful. The gentleman that drove the tractor to the pumpkin patch held our hands to make sure we got down the stairs safely. He even took the diaper bag back to the wagon for us so we didn't have to carry it. It was such a great place to spend time with family. I highly recommend going here
I absolutely loved this place! I only gave it a 4 star because my kids didn’t get to experience all the activities they have because we went during the week and not all of them were open. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. It was our first time coming and as soon as my boys were in the car they said “can we come back here next year!”
