I didn't like the fact that he asked for half the money up front. Had he not been part of Service Majic I would not have hired him. Plus his invoice has a diffrent company name on it. (Gallery Home repair)

Service Majic has checked out my background and I have their seal of approval. There is no question that I am a legitimate contractor. I do not have that from my customers and have no way of determining if they are trustworthy. I ask for 50% down because that will cover my materials expense. It is not unreasonable to require a down payment. I cannot reposses a fence for non payment.
