The Register Mail endorses socialism and the overall frivolous spending of taxpayer money. Their endorsement of our mayor John Pritchard was reluctant at best and the way the article was written it sounded like they wanted to endorse Walt McAlister (whose socialist policies will probably bankrupt Galesburg.) The last nail in the coffin was the endorsement of Jerry Reynolds who fully intends on preventing the merging of the treasurers office and finance dept in order to bleed the taxpayer money to subsidize his own retirement... read more
