Take note of how the most recent reviews lately have all been negative. If I could turn back time to a year ago, I would’ve never signed a lease here. I stayed at W 39th Pl and my room was given to me filthy (despite a $200 cleaning fee that’s deducted from your deposit after your lease is over) and whoever “cleaned” it definitely doesn’t know the meaning of clean. The area is safe, and the rent is affordable, which is a huge plus for students. The property even offers free laundry, which is incredibly convenient. They are very responsive to maintenance requests and genuinely attentive to tenants' needs. Whether you're a USC student or not, this place offers a reliable, supportive living experience that's hard to beat. Overall, it’s a fantastic option for anyone looking for quality student housing near USC!
Such an amazing place to live in the heart of LA. Easy to commute anywhere around and with a college vibe. I personally liked the area because it is a quiet and peaceful area to live. Of course I have my ups and downs, however, the staff members of Galaxy student housing are always making sure their tenants get what they need in a timely manner as well as keeping professionalism at its peak. If you are not at home enough and if you don't mind sharing a place with 13 other people then this is a good place for you. The place I leased had 14 rooms. No one cares about cleaning and a lady goes once a week. Be mindful if this is a good fit. If not you'll have to find someone and sublease.
Go somewhere else. Absolutely not worth it. The landlord is extremely unprofessional, incompetent, and rude. She should find a new profession because she clearly does not know how to do her job correctly. This place is infested with mold and landlord has no cares at all. She will paint over the mold and think problem is resolved. Also, photos look absolutely nothing like it in person. Terrible area, terrible housing, rude staff. The list could go on, but I would definitely not recommend.
