I’ve gone to Galaxy Nail Spa several times because it’s convenient to where I live, but the quality is very inconsistent. It really depends on who you get. Sometimes the work is fine, other times it’s sloppy or too thick. The pricing has also been frustrating because it seems to change every visit. I understand costs are going up, but services have been reduced too. Things like paraffin wax that used to be included are no longer offered, yet the price has not gone down. I came in to get gel-x nails for my prom 2 days before the event. I paid $85 and the next day my thumb nail popped off and two other nails felt loose. I went back into the saloon and asked for them to redo my nails because one had fallen which means the other ones will fall off soon and I could see them lifting. They were rude to me and insisted that they will just put builder gel on top, when i would ask why i did not get a response. After 15 minutes of kindly arguing my point I gave up and trusted them.
