The food was less than filling. Oysters were small and the size of a quarter, no joke. the swordfish was not cleaned well enough and we pulled several pin bones out. We were mainly appalled by the way the management treated the waitress. she was demanded to hand plate food on people plate just because they knew them. Wait staff was friendly! Had the Gumbo which was very good. Main course I had the Red Snapper which was perfectly cooked.
The food was delicious my friends had the fried seafood platter which was delicious I had the Gulf fried shrimp were awesome everything we had including the homemade bread was delicious. Sally our waitress was great she explained the history of the restaurant and was so very attentive and gave us super service. Highly recommend
Excellent food, service and ambiance. Honestly, a little more formal feeling than I’m usually comfortable with, but I never felt out of place or unwelcome. Lunch was a casual meal but very high quality.

Absolutely delicious! I love the fact that they have been in business since 1911 and it still has that true full service feel!
