Evan waited on us. We were in town the night before a cruise. It would have been my grandparents 74th anniversary. Gaido’s is my grandfather’s favorite seafood restaurant in his entire life. We had to continue the family tradition of eating dinner with these fine people. Evan was an exceptional waiter and so were all the waitstaff that we saw. Great oysters and fried shrimp and staff!
Over 100 years old, second largest kitchen in the state of Texas. Comfortably relaxing atmosphere. Food was excellent. Red Snapper was tender, flakey and flavorful. Their fresh baked bread is wonderful, soft and warm to the table. Wait staff is friendly, and knowledgeable not only about the food, but of the history of the establishment. Very much worth the trip, and the price.
