The oysters were excellent and fish very good. After a fun day on the island this was a nice way to end it.
Awesome oysters and shrimp surrounded by historical decor. The service was above reproach. Always my first choice for seafood when I visit Galveston.
The waiter was great. Food was amazing. Can't wait to go back
The service was horrible, but the food was amazingly good. This places decor has not changed since I went their with my family in the 1970's. I highly recommend ordering to go...since service is so bad.
Meh - prices were certainly 5-star. Food was ok. Presentation old and tired. You would think that a seafood resataurant on the Gulf Coast would feature mostly Gulf seafood. Not the case here.
Excellent food and excellent service! Looking forward to next visit.
My first time at this restaurant and I had an amazing experience. Our waiter, Vinnie, was super nice and offered great service and provided us with lots of information regarding the dishes. Ultimately I decided on the Mahi Mahi that Vinnie recommended and it was very very good. The perfect amount of food and it was presented stupendously. Compliments to the Chef that prepared it for us that day and to Vinnie, who sets the standard for quality customer service. We will definitely be back!
The best food of our whole trip to Galveston. My daughter is a super picky eater and actually ate and loved sword fish and asparagus. Everything was amazing. Atmosphere, wait staff and food. Yum! Will be on our must list for next trip.
Food was great, but outrageously expensive. The red snapper with crab meat on top was $46. Richard's service was outstanding. He told us he had been there for 18 years. We were there because it was my dad's favorite restaurant. A good memory.
