We stumbled upon Gaetano's last night while in Batavia for a show and a perfect find for us to celebrate our 8th Anniversary. The atmosphere and ambiance were perfect and the food was simply phenomenal. The bread and hummus were a great surprise and nothing like homemade hummus. I had the lamb chops and my wife had a pasta, sausage and mushroom dish and both were prepared and displayed with perfection. Food was exceptional. Staff was super helpful.
First visit was really good my favorite were the appetizers however my husband's meal was delicious pulled pork cooked for so many hours... I love the ambiance, I really liked their new decoration, good service! The restaurant is more like a fusion of Mediterranean and Italian. It's nice to have more options!! Price was $$$

This place was amazing
Just blown away by our meal tonite! We had the Gaetapas Tasting menu...9 dishes and dessert. I would write forever if I talked about every dish...but the cocoa dusted scallops were OUT OF THIS WORLD. So glad we now have an amazing upscale resturant in Batavia.
Amazing flavors the freshest ingredients with tremendous value. What could be better than that? Having G cook it for you. A master chef, as good as any meal I had during my three trips to Italy.
Wonderful combinations...truly Gaetano is a master of a modern spin on classic Sicilian cuisine. Great ambience, service and, especially food.
We just came home from dining here and it was a true culinary adventure! There are traditions from Italy, done in a unique and original way. There is no place like this in the Tri-cities. We can't wait to return!
