In 1934, Denver's most notorious family, the Smalldones opened up an eatery in the North Side to become the heart of both Italian cuisine and an illicit operation. While drawing the neighborhood's attention to their famous pasta, they also drew the attention from police as Denver's only mafia operated in the basement. I am from Canada and I joined my friends for dinner. We were a group of 4 and everything from the appetizers to desserts, wine and coffee's were amazing. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the staff are amazing. We were fortunate enough to get a booth and had plenty of room for the four of us. Next time I am back in Denver this will be a must stop!
