In 1934, Denver's most notorious family, the Smalldones opened up an eatery in the North Side to become the heart of both Italian cuisine and an illicit operation. While drawing the neighborhood's attention to their famous pasta, they also drew the attention from police as Denver's only mafia operated in the basement. There are so few restaurants these days that you walk into and feel like your apart of the family. Many of the staff came to table to talk, and made it a great experience. We are Colorado natives and know the original family. The food was great, the atmosphere was great, our waiter was great!!
A favorite. Locals and out of town people love it!
