Terrible.. waited 6 hours with my son running a 105 fever before I left. In the mean time an older gentle man in the waiting room waiting to see the doctor as well had a seizure and began throwing up and choking on his vomit. His wife was in panic and no one came to help. He also sat there and waited an extra few hours in the waiting room after that and The vomit sat in the floor and on the chairs for 2 hours before someone came to clean it up. The nurses were extremely rude and hateful.
Been waiting in the er for my husband to be seen since 2 pm it is now 530!!!! Ridiculous. And the lady at the desk is very rude. I really am not likely to refer this place to anyone!!

I have been here 4 hours and everyone before me has gone back. The girls behind the counter just say "idk what to tell u" while they play on the phone! Im furious! I will never come back.
my mom Judy Calloway is in ICU , a RN Josh, take's care of her, he is on top of his duty's as a nurse up there , he comes in and give's us a update, good and the bad. about my mother. you can really tell that he cares, Josh deserve's a gold star!!
Well, I saw an article recently that said that Gadsden Regional charges more than anyone in the state for their " services". You would think, since it is so expensive to go there, that you would get the best care. Not the case, based on my experience, and those of life long friends that have been hospitalized there, and relayed their experiences to me. I am rating them low because I went to Neurological Specialist and their office staff is so unprofessional. Dr. Bogdonava and her Nurse practitioner Angela Walker are very wonderful caregivers. It's the staff that's so unprofessional. I have only been seeing her since April and she diagnosed me by Sept and I had been seeing another neurologist for 2yrs and he was unable to tell me what was going on. My dad spent his last days on earth here. The nurses treated him like a disease. He had blood clots in both legs and lungs. When they moved his legs he screamed in pain. The nurse told him to hush that screaming and thrn looked at me and told me that I could "wrangle" him she was done. The room was crap and Noone cared for him as he should have been. He begged me to not leave him each time I was there. He was there for like 2 months and then his room was in the extended ICU dept. It was about the equivalent of a scrub closet... read more
Sunday I was in a motorcycle accident while riding Little River Canyon. I was taken to Gadsden Regional Medical Center's ER. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely professional, polite and caring. Special thanks to Dana (sorry I did not get your last name) who was the Nurse Practitioner in the ER and Dr. Blackstock and his PA who actually took care of me in the OR.
