Check Engine Light was intentionally damaged. Bought a 2011 Subaru Forster. When I got home to Pittsburgh PA my mechanic found out, after some mysterious problems, the Check Engine light had been gouged out of the dash light system. From what I understand this is done only to sell a car. There are other things that the car needs repairs on which is fine with me.
