Dr. Merlin is a wonderful hand specialist. He goes above and beyond to care for his patients. I saw Dr. Merlin for thumb pain, which was confirmed as arthritis. He treated my thumb but then also took initiative in consulting with me regarding a hand injury 23 years past. I had given up hope with improving my finger mobility and Dr. Merlin took the time to discuss some alternative therapies that could still be done to improve my hand mobility. Please read this review! My mother was in the office for a cortisone injection because her carpal tunnel’s was hurting her so bad! When Dr Merlin saw her hand he told us immediately that it would be a waste of money that she really needed the surgery. We explained to him, mom was from Canada just visiting for the holidays and her local neurologist did not want to see her because she is older than 80 years old.
