I need help, I just purchased an 18sc gator tough. The problem is idk what shaft length to run on the trolling motor. Does anyone have one with a 45 inch shaft and if so how does it do and would you go longer if you could. Would really appreciate some help, thanks.
Been in the marine industry for 33 years. Been a Dealer for a lot of boat manufacturers over that period of time . G3 ranks at the tough. The Gator Tough series and the Sportsman series are the best aluminum boats on the market. The customer service from G3 and the dependability of Yamaha motors are second to none.
JUNK! On second one, due to warranty issues on first one. Several issues with this boat and manufacturer will not warranty. Do not buy these boats. Now they blocked me from commenting or messaging the truth about these generic boats and terrible customer service. Contact me before buying one of these boats I have pictures and proof they are junk.
Great boat for fishing & enjoying the lakes. Very well built, wide stance & gets up and goes. I'll be in the market soon once i am G3 it is
I went out with Captain Pat Harrison in downtown Chicago. We were on the Chicago River, through the lock, and out onto Lake Michigan. His new G3 handled great.We had plenty of room for fishing and it was stable in the water even when the big party boats went by.
I love my G3 Sportsman 200, built like a tank that handles all types of water
