I have an 2009 1860 cc. Just today I had to change out my steering cable and throttle cables. Not a very hard job to do if the guys putting the boat together wouldn't have put tywraps under the floor plate with is not easily accessible. If anyone is having problems getting cables to pull threw this is why!!! Lack of QC.

I purchased a 2008 G3 boat. I’ve babied this boat. Washed down after every use and garage kept. This year I noticed that paint was bubbling on the transom. The bubbles were located at the lower portion of the plywood in the transom. Come to find out the spray in foam, in transom of the boat was not allowing the water to drain properly. I just recently purchased a new g3 bay boat, I am finding out the hard way that a person can not order any parts or even talk to the manufacturer. Everything has to go thru a dealer nearest dealer to me is 1 1/2 hours from me. They delivered a seat to the dealer which somehow had a rip in it, I tried calling the manufacturer to get a time frame on a new one being delivered I was told corp policy is they can not talk to general public. I own a G3 1544 Jon Boat, and I love it. But my concern is all the issues that other G3 owners are having with their newer boats. It seems G3 customer service is lacking a backbone. I was considering upgrading to another G3 boat, but now I'm not too sure. I don't understand why G3 boats can't reply to the issues discussed here????
