The following is my experience at G & M Restaurant. Yes THEE G & M!!!! It is MY opinion that they have become sooo known in the restaurant business that they forgot ONE VITAL detail.... CUSTOMER SERVICE. First off, the girl who answered the phone, Melissa, spoke so fast I had to STOP her to understand what she was saying and had an attitude to boot. The crab cakes are the bomb! Best ones I've ever had.
Best crab cakes...
Although the food was amazing, the experience was less than. I was insulted by the waitress at the end of the meal when she accused me of leaving only a $10 tip- which in fact it was $30. She handed the receipt book back to me and had me count the money. Not only was I humiliated in front of my guests, I was outraged when I counted the money and the $30 tip was included. Amazing crabcakes!
I have to say our experience last night was great. Prompt attentive service and a very clean environment even though it was very busy. Our entire party loved our meals; Broiled flounder, crab cakes and crab imperial. The garden salad was nice and fresh. All in all a great dinner. We will definitely be back! Keep up the good work.
