Pretty fantastic service. Well staffed so no wait, and an expertise that gives timely advice on best steps for service needed immediately, and into the future. I had actually asked about a pretty expensive option, and was given a less expensive, and better, option with details on the pros and cons of each choice. Super friendly, and when they noticed expired tags on my windshield from another state that I was unable to get off, they cleanly removed them for me. A pleasure to work with.
My daughter got stranded in Tallahassee on her way to Denver, and Furrins was recommended by a friend. They saved the day! Not only did they pinpoint the problem and make the repair, she was given a phone number to call if she had any other problems.The bill was less than $100. And she made it to Colorado safely. we then got a letter in the mail asking about their service, inviting us to call the manager with his direct number, if he could be of help and with a coupon for our next visit!

In this day and age of the big super stores and big auto dealers it is wonderful to find a family owned shop that cares about their customers. I will always bring my car to you.

Over-charge for labor – I took my car in with a slight oil leak as we were planning a long road trip and did not want problems on the trip. The morning I was on my way in, a check engine light came on. I asked them to look at both problems. After having the car for a day and a half (and having made a 0800 appt), they called me to say that they needed to remove my after market radio in my Jetta becuase their computer could not connect to the apparatus correctly to read what the check engine light was indicating. Tallahassee's Finest Auto shop! – I was driving through Tallahassee when the alternator went out on my BMW. I just had it replaced in Austin, Texas less than 2 days prior. I found Furrin Auto and Frank was able to find a replacement alternator and install it very quickly. Becaus of his actions I was able to get back on the road and not have the added expense of staying in Tallahassee for the weekend. I wish we had a shop like this in Austin. Tallahassee is very lucky. Many thanks to the entire Furrin crew.
Fixed my car after another shop tried 3 times! Awesome! – I had my VW in another shop for repairs. The shop that will remain nameless tried 3 different times to fix the problem unsuccessfully. Furrin was able to fix the problem correctly the first time. Now that I have found a shop that knows what they are doing, I will only be taking my car to them. Thanks everyone at Furrin for an outstanding job!
