RecommendedVery unassuming and down-to-earth greenhouse. We stopped by for the first time today to get some tomatoes and herbs for our raised bed planter. EVERYONE was courteous and friendly (staff and customers) and multiple staff checked in on us as we were browsing. There was still a great selection of plants even though it was late in the spring growing season. So many tomato varieties! Funke's is definitely the place to be. They have an amazing selection of plants. I am always finding something new there. Last summer I got a large, almost succulent Cuban Oregano plant that has a lemony oregano scent. It has happily overwintered indoors and has provided a cheerful reminder of spring coming again! Al is a gifted plantsman and he loves to answer garden questions and shares all the knowledge he can. He and Helen are wonderful neighbors and we are grateful for all their hard work!
