The service is on par with any other electronics store I have been to (not so good) but their selection is second to none. You can find almost anything you are looking for. It is my go-to store for computer components.

They got pretty much anything you need here. Needed a unique wire and they had it.

I always have a good experience here. A good selection and the kids enjoy the space invaders. The selection at the check out is tempting.

The best thing about Frys, aside from the theming, is that they seem to stock just about any random thing you could possibly need. That makes it fun to wander around looking at things. The worst thing about Frys is that when you're looking for a specific thing, you may have to check in multiple places. Want a 1/4" male to 1/4" male cord? Look in the stereo section...and the computer audio section...and the cellphone section...and the mac section. Similar experiences await you if you want an HDMI cable, or a surge protector, or any number of other electronic components; there is some but not full overlap between products in different locations, so if you find the cheapest cable is $10 in one area, you might find the cheapest cable in another area is from a different manufacturer and costs $4 for 2.
