I agree with this review....when i first started going here the burgers were perfect now i will not waste my money...too much sauce makes for soggy bun the hamburger was crooked and looked like it had been sat on just terrible ....i havent been back since

Smh... I've been a long time customer at the Auburn location. The past 2 visits have been bad... very bad! I always order the bacon burger- I was blessed enough to get MAYBE a half piece of bacon on my entire burger. It was completely drenched in ketchup, mayo and mustard. It was literally a "condiment" burger!!! I had no time to go and have it re-made because I was on my lunch break... service is "ok"... very disappointed!!!!!

I've eaten at Frugals 3 times now. A couple times last summer and the latest a couple weeks ago. The cheeseburgers are in good balance, the shakes are good and the thin frys were tastey. There is NO inside seating. The two drive thrus can get crowded. There is a mostly empty parking lot nearby. If you are looking for fancy smancy go elsewhere, if you are looking for something toward the "Dick's" side of burgers scale give it a try. Great food at a great price ! Got two Quarter Pounders with cheese. The best part of it is my car was being charged at the time so I walked up to the window and they served me anyway. Completely different than most drive-thrus!
Frugal's used to be our favorite guilty pleasure, as their burgers were excellent and fries uniquely delicious. But the last couple of visits have been disappointing...it seems they have new people, because our bacon cheeseburger had almost one slice of bacon on it, and my mushroom Swiss burger had barely any mushrooms on it at all. Both burgers were very old and dried out. Their fries were old, cold, and barely seasoned. We won't be going back here again for awhile.
