Amazing food and service. We searched for a good authentic Mexican restaurant and we found it. Spicy pork tacos tasted so fresh and super tender. Had the chicken tomale appetizer which was big enough to be my meal...but... must have the champagne margaritas... and the pecan pie with kahlua cool whip. Service was spot on. Must do if looking for good upscale Mexican at reasonable price.

It was beyond my expectations. How can such magic happen to a dish as simple as a Tamale. The depth and layer of flavors was so pure and humble. I had the birria lamb tamal, a fantastic margarita and a most refreshing and palette cleansing cucumber/lime water. I would have like to have tasted more from his intriguing menu but it was my fourth meal in Chicago this day. Including the excellent roasted guacamole from XOCO next door. I sat at the bar as I was dining alone. Excellent service and I loved the atmosphere.
Hard to decide what's worse, the taste of the food or the wait service. I didn't get food poisoning, so my visit was worth giving one star vs. zero stars.
Amazing food and service. Exceptional!! Between the five of us, we had chicken, ribs, beef and fishes dishes and they were all creative, elegantly presented and delicious!
Excellent food, drinks and atmosphere! Highly recommend the guacamole.
