Frontera Grill is the sister establishment of the more well known, Topolobampo next door. Both restaurants are from the celebrated Chef Rick Bayless, however this spot focuses more on casual dining. Super delicious Mexican food that is not like others. I had chili rubbed grilled duck breast with the best mole sauce ever. House made tomatillo salsa was fantastic. Dos Tres Leches cake with house made Mexican chocolate ice cream sealed the deal. Highly recommended.

Excellent food. The tamales tasted just like Bolivian humintas. Price reasonable. Will go again everytime I visit Chicago
