Fromage was founded by owner Christine Chesanek shortly after she graduated from Villanova University. The original store was a small but quaint location that was always packed with people looking for Christine's expertise on which cheese to choose for their gathering. After 11 years, it was finally time for a change. Fromage moved into their new location at 873 Boston Post Road in May of 2004. We stopped by On Black Friday to pick up some holiday party gifts for the staff at Adorable Pets Veterinary Center in Haddam and were blown away by the selection, hospitality, and value of the artisan goods. We probably spent too much money but we will be back without our kids so we can soak in the variety of cheeses and gifts.

This place is amazing. The smell when you walk through the door is enough to pay for the price of admission! LOL Seriously, though, an amazing selection of just about anything a foodie could want with a staff that is so accommodating that it makes oneself want to live here just to work with them. And the cheese. All the cheese.
