Fromage was founded by owner Christine Chesanek shortly after she graduated from Villanova University. The original store was a small but quaint location that was always packed with people looking for Christine's expertise on which cheese to choose for their gathering. This store is so much fun to walk through — so many delectable items and interesting gifts. I know their charcuterie items and cheeses are top shelf. That said, sometimes it’s the little details that can leave a bad taste in one’s mouth (pun intended). I grabbed a few items off the shelf, and decided a fresh cup of coffee would be great. This store is a foodie's delight!! I could roam around all day. If you're looking for hard to find Italian, French, or Asian spices condiments,etc this is the place. They also have pastas, fresh meats and cheeses, as well as kitchen linens and accessories. You will definitely leave a happy shopper

Today was my first trip to fromage. The staff was super helpful & the selection was amazing! I highly recommend checking them out. We will definitely be placing a holiday order with them. Can’t wait to go back!
I have been shopping at Fromage Fine Foods and Coffees since moving to Old Saybrook in 1994. I am never disappointed and am always SO happy when I stop by to pick up some of the most unusual cheeses, crackers, coffees, and other products for my home. Christine is the thoughtful, professional, and extremely personable owner of Fromage. I encourage everyone in the area (or out of the area like my NY cousin who loved the shop) to stop by, peruse, and enjoy all that Fromage has to offer. You won't regret it!
