RecommendedFromage c’est vie. Fromage in OS is the center of epicurean delight on the CT shore! If it were only for the cheese this shop would rate 5 STARS, however... the staff resounds with knowledge, experience and friendliness; the offerings other than cheese- charcuterié, patê, oil, among a thousand others is fantastic! I have used Fromage for more than a decade and while living in and out of CT drive here for something different in a friendly and familiar environment.
The best fine food store I have ever visited. Period. Great place to find Petite Basque cheese, quail eggs, off the charts baked goods like croissants, artisan bread, a serving platter, some wine glasses, spices, curry paste, asian sauces, this place has it all.. Plan to spend an hour or more there browsing.
