1 star in my book. I’m a registered IHSS worker with 4 years experience dealing with a variety of clients. I was interviewed and onboarded, even took my direct deposit info and told I would hear back from them in 2 days. Gave me the app to download for work. I never heard from them. Called many times. Finally heard back after 2 weeks to be told I’m not a good fit after checking off all their boxes and going through a phone and in person interview. I'm very happy with From the Heart and the caregivers I was assigned! For a couple months after shoulder surgery, I needed help with certain tasks requiring more than one arm. From the Heart is far more affordable than it's competitors who have weekly hour minimums (sometimes 20!), because as my rehab progressed I came to need only 1 hour 3x/week. From the Heart communicated and well and always delivered on caregiver assignments. The caregivers were professional, cheerful, conscientious, and kind; I will miss them!
All the staff are human, they protect the client and employees too . They treat you like a real family. It is a good company and I recommend it 100%. The company is very organized and has a lot of benefits for employees. Best place to work as Caregiver .
