Absolutely perfect. From the atmosphere to the service, this first visit absolutely exceeded my already high expectations of the place. Simply phenomenal experience. I'm truly happy that there is a local place that EVERYTHING was perfect. Food, strong drinks and Bernie our waitress defifnitely made the night an experience to remember.
Dinner there was fantastic. Small plates are definitely small (as appetizers not really sharable) and the large plates are definitely large (you could share a large plate and add an extra side). The food was AMAZING! Try their mac n cheese. It is like a lasagna mac n cheese. The make their own pasta fresh. Also their food is all farm to table.
Staff was very nice, food was fantastic and the drinks were very tasty. Great selection of drinks. Had the scallops (special), wedge salad and the mac n cheese. Atmosphere is great for a romantic evening out, a celebration, or just a couple of friends getting together for dinner and drinks at the bar. Definitely recommend reservations if you don't plan to sit at the bar. Although the bar is very nice.
Frog hollow is the place to eat! My hunni and I ate there for the first time on our anniversary. Our reservation was perfect. Our evening was so lovely. Our waitress was so kind. The food was excellent, mouth watering might I say. I definitely recommend frog hollow. The Angus butcher steak is the way to go or either their porch chop special !! They are a bit pricey however.
An outstanding farm to table restaurant in downtown Augusta. The food and service are top notch. The braised pork shoulder with their lasagna style mac n' cheese is out of this world. Never been disappointed at the Hollow!
