Three strikes – Went there Saturday night for a quck meal before Dads Garage. Strike one: Sat down and ordered ice tea - oops the waiter without apology says that don't serve any ice tea sweet or otherwise. That was a first for me in any restaurant in any state or county I have ever been to. Strike two: After salads, our pizza was delivered. We asked the waiter if it could be sliced or if we could get a pizza cutter again he abruptly said no and walked away - this restaurant (that only serves pizza) does not cut the pizza or ... read more

I have dined at sottosotto and fritti for the past three years. The food is mediocre at best and the service is moody. However, fritti and sottosotto are a staple of inman park, just like Buddy's and Manual's. Fritti has a personality that many restaurants don't have. I hate candy coated anything and you will never find that at Fritti and SottoSotto.

HORRIFIC experience – I was in town visiting with a friend of mine and we happened in to Fritti on a Thursday night. We didn't have a reservation but it appeared we didn't need one. While the host was friendly and our server was very helpful, we found the pizza inconsistent. The appetizer, risotto and sausage ball, was burnt. We ordered a Margherita pizza and it looked like someone had poured water on it when it arrived at the table. We noticed a dramatic switch in the atmosphere in the restaurant from the last time we went ... read more

It's been months and I still can't shake this experience... – I have probably dined at Fritti over twenty times in the past year and had sensational experiences, which is why I find it VERY unfortunate and shocking that my most recent dining experience was so horrific. My boyfriend and I went in on a Sunday night at around 9:20. We have both been in the hospitality industry for years, so we know that it's frowned upon to walk into a restaurant with an within a certain amount of time before closing, however, we were walking b... read more

Not Good at All – The food was greasy, the space was cramped and the tables too close together. The hostess explained to us that the air conditioning wasn't working to explain the rediculous heat. It's too much to pay for mediocre pizza.

Good Food, Cheap Drinks – My fiance and I went here on our first date and LOVED IT!!!!!!!! The pizza is so good, even though they don't cut it for you, which we thought was really weird, but it is sooooo good! They also have these croquettes(sp?) that are a great appetizer. The bartenders are really nice. Sometimes on the weekends we will stop by there just to have a couple of drinks, but we usually HAVE TO order something off of the menu. Def. a great restaurant!

Still Pizza Like No Other! International Pizza Award From Italy! – This Saturday afternoon, was our first visit back here in many years. I guess because we are just too lazy, we never go out for pizza. But after visiting friends in Inman Park, we stopped back in. We recently read about the International Award from Italy, with Fritti being one of only two, awarded in the states, for authentic pizza. I don't really care about the complaints about service, just bring me a drink, and one of these pies! Pure heaven! Thin, crispy,... read more

FINALLY....AUTHENTIC ITALIAN PIZZA! – I recently moved to Atlanta from New York City, the capital of street vendors and great pizza. If you have ever had a slice, you know what I mean. I had spent some time in the south years ago and must admit that I've always held a slight prejudice against it's pizza. It's true, sorry, but I'm an Italian girl from nyc. Fritti has aloud my taste buds to blossom once more proving that there is good pizza to be had in the south. Everything was just as I would expect it to be from an Italian ... read more

Trendy but not snobby – I've been to Fritti a half dozen times, and each time I've had a very good experience. The place is quite trendy, with trendy people drinking trendy drinks, but I never feel out of place there (no comment on my own trendiness! heh) and the servers/hostesses are helpful and accommodating, just as they should be. I never make a reservation, and sometimes (usually) we end up having a drink at the (crowded) bar before being seated, but it's never more than 20-25 minutes or so, which I consider to be prett... read more
