When I walked through the gates of the Friendship House, I was lost, broken, and had nearly given up on life. My addiction nearly destroyed me. I wasn't sure who I was anymore. This place allowed me to heal myself. This place healed my spirit and reconnected me with my Native beliefs. Without the Friendship House saving my life, who knows where I would be. I still pray for all those in the program and hope they can find themselves like I had. This place will always be my home.
Thanks for the XMAS Dinner today! Lots of friends and their families and Santa Claus too!
Friendship House showed me that I could have a life of my own. I learned how to put myself first and by doing so everything else will fall into place. Going to Friendship House was by far the very best decision I have ever made.
